Marc LaFrance
Marc LaFrance has always been on the water (or under the water) in one form or another. Prior to being a high school special ed teacher working with teenagers who exhibit challenging behaviors, Marc has been an outdoor and experiential instructor of various sports. Upon retirement his first goal was to develop boat building skills and refocus his sailing abilities to become a more competent self-sufficient mariner. Marc is now a certified USCG captain whose focus is to guide students to expand their on-the-water experiences, to increase their situational awareness, and to enhance their problem-solving abilities. On his own time, Marc has built and sails his own Caledonia yawl and is currently working on a Francois Vivier, Aber.
