Setup as an inclusive experience including camping and lunches, Family Waterfront is a vacation like you always wanted it to be.
Throughout the week, families will have the opportunity to spend time on the coast of Maine learning to sail small boats, row and generally just play in a safe, structured and fun environment.
One day will be sailing with instructors in our harbor aboard our fleet of wooden boats. The next, will be rowing as a class out to a nearby island for picnic lunch. Everyday will have something new to experience and learn whether through games, casual instruction or just messing about. The goal of Family Waterfront is not only to have a unique vacation, but learn how to enjoy being on the water together. Often a family or kids’ first experience is being dragged along and turning what could be a fun pastime into something not enjoyed by anyone. Our intent is that at the end of a fun week, families will be excited to use their own boat together, trips to the yacht club would be looked forward to, the idea of camping is exciting and everyone enjoys time on the water together.
