This is a six-day class ending Friday.
Saved from rotting away in a field, this dory was built in South Bristol Maine. Diminutive in length, this 12′ round sided dory very much resembles the shape and size of the Maine Peapod. This class will record and replicate this boat creating a set of plans while at the same time building a replica. There are no existing plans for this dory and so creating a set from the boat itself is imperative for preserving this design for future builders. It is rare to see a dory this small and the scale and proportion of this boat makes it handy, attractive, and perhaps the perfect little tender.
