Shelly Thompson
Waterfront Staff
Shelly Thompson started sailing on a sunfish on Cape Cod as a kid. She will be on or in the ocean any chance she gets. Her path as a scientist working on the Human Genome Project, junior high school science teacher, worldschooling her kids, and now as a USCG licensed boat captain/fun ambassador make her great company on the water. You may catch her lobstering or testing out new mycobuoys this season.
In the off season, she delivers boats, varnishes, and spreads the gospel of wooden boats.
