For anyone taking up oil painting as a pastime, this enlightening week with Anthony will help provide the respect it deserves. Over the five days, your instructor will discuss and demonstrate on some facet of landscape painting, such as the principles of drawing, how sunlight affects color, proper use of medium, values, how to see color and value as a unit, various brushing techniques, self-expression, how to record the features of a landscape, and much, much more. You’ll learn that every stroke you put on canvas contributes some effect to the final picture. With guidance from Anthony, each student will explore their own personal vision in the intensely visual environment that surrounds Brooklin. This week will definitely provide ample inspiration for all those toting brushes and canvas.
