Join local artist Susan Vanderlin and experience the splendor of plein-air painting as you work with the luminous colors found here on the coast of Maine. Each day will find students working both in group settings and out on their own. Susan will demonstrate various techniques and lead students through fun, constructive critiques of their work.
Light creates color, color notes light. The challenge to students will be to mix these notes on a palette and then create a painting. Learn how to capture the feeling of light and atmosphere in your own vision at your own pace. All skill levels, from beginners to experienced artists, are invited to join Susan in this relaxed, fun venture into oils and pastels. Let the painting begin!
