Introduction to Online Registration
Starting in January, all registrations for WoodenBoat School courses will be ONLINE ONLY here at www.thewoodenboatschool.com. This includes your application, course selection, room & board, etc. You will be required to make a deposit online to secure your registration. Once you complete this process, you will receive an email confirmation. If a course is already full, you will have the option to be put on a waiting list (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) and immediately notified when there is an opening.
The first time you register you will need to create a user profile. It’s similar to most websites where you buy things. You will not be able to set up your user profile until that first day of registration, January 3rd. This means on that day, you will go into the website, choose your classes and put them in your "cart", just like buying something from Amazon. When you are done choosing classes and ready to "checkout" you will then be asked about housing, meals, etc. Finally, you will need to choose a payment method and create your user profile.
All of this is going to take a few minutes. Please be patient, and remember, everyone else registering is in the same boat (pun intended).
We will be sending out several emails before January 3rd reminding folks about the change and helping answer questions you might have. Please print out the 2022 WBS Registration Cheat Sheet, fill it out, and use it when you actually register.
