AMY HOSA has been an illustrator and graphic designer in San Francisco since 1974. Storyboards (sketches for keyframe visuals) for corporate video and multimedia projects were a specialty for 20 years. The maritime world began seeping into her personal art when she volunteered for preservation work in the Small Boat Shop on Hyde Street Pier, San Francisco, and was introduced to sailing on their annual gunkholing expeditions into the delta and sloughs, with sketchbook in hand. Currently, Amy is the Exhibit Designer at San Francisco Maritime National Historic Park, and also exhibits watercolors at the Blue Gate Gallery in New Mexico.
